SinuCleanse Neti Pot

Research has found that organisms responsible for sinusitis
sample can be found in the tubing and bottles of sinus irrigation bottles once used. Researchers concluded that sinus irrigation squeeze bottles are potential sources of sinus re-infection and that only those products that prevent back-wash should be used. The design of nasal wash products also are a factor in preventing contamination. Those with covers or narrow tubing are more difficult to clean
properly and thoroughly and as a result can produce an environment favorable to growth of organisms in the product.

The SinuCleanse® Squeeze® bottle features the most effective anti-backflow technology
available to prevent contamination of the saline solution during use and facilitate thorough
cleaning and protect against contamination post use. Additionally, our “wide mouth” design
makes it easy to keep SinuCleanse® products clean, as well as making them easy to fill and dry.

Effective anti-backflow valves prevent contamination of the saline solution and vessel during use and facilitate cleaning of piping and tubing post use to ensure that contaminants
do not become trapped.

Based upon our years of experience in the category, SinuCleanse® has determined that
“umbrella valve” technology provides the most holistic protection against contamination.
This valve, which sits on the underside of the cap, lets air flow only one way into the bottle
and then closes when there is pressure inside. It will not pull air and contaminants
in through the tip.
