HOW TO USE THE SINUCLEANSE® NETI POT:

1. Empty the contents of one SinuCleanse® 100% all natural saline ingredients packet into the SinuCleanse® Neti Pot. First time users should start with 1/2 packet of the SinuCleanse® saline soultion. As you become more accustomed to the system, work up to using one full packet.

2. Fill the SinuCleanse® Neti Pot to the top of the SinuCleanse® logo with lukewarm water. This makes 1/2 cup (4 oz.) of solution. Additional packets may be purchased from your SinuCleanse® retailer or online.

3. Stir thoroughly until SinuCleanse® saline solution has completely dissolved.

4. Lean your head over the sink with your head bent down so you are looking directly into the basin. Proper head position allows solution to flow through the nose by gravity. Neti Pot

5. Holding the SinuCleanse® Neti Pot in your right hand, gently insert the spout into your right nostril so that it forms a comfortable seal. Breathe with your mouth open.

6. Rotate your head so that the right nostril is directly above the left nostril. The forehead should remain higher than the chin. Raise the handle of the pot so the solution enters the nostril. In a few moments, the solution will begin to drain out of the left nostril into the sink. Do not inhale or snort the solution into the nose. Breath through your mouth.

7. When the pot is empty, exhale through both nostrils to clear them of excess mucus and solution. Gently blow your nose into a tissue.

8. Repeat the procedure on the other side.


 

 

HOW TO USE THE SINUCLEANSE® SQUEEZE™:

1. Remove the cap from the SinuCleanse® Squeeze™ bottle.

2. Pour the pre-mixed SinuCleanse® saline solution into the bottle. First time uses should start with 1 packet of the SinuCleanse® saline solution. As you become more accustomed to the system, work up to using two packets.

3. Fill the bottle with lukewarm water. Leave approximately 1/2 inch between the water line and the top of the bottle.

4. Tighten the cap on the bottle securely, place one finger over the tip of hte cap and gently shake the bottle until the dry ingredients have completely dissolved.

5. Lean over the sink with your head bent down so you are looking directly into the basin. Place the tip of the cap up to the right nostril and gently insert the tip so that it forms a comfortable seal. Aim the tip at the back of your head, not at the top of your head.

6. Squeeze the bottle gently so that the solution enters the right nostril. Do not inhale or snort the solution into the nose. Breathe through your mouth.

7. In a few moments, the solution will begin to drain out of the left nostril into the sink. Continue to squeeze the bottle gently until you have used approximately half of the solution.

8. Remove the tip of the bottle from your nostril, then exhale through both nostrils to clear them of excess mucus and solution. Gently blow your nose into a tissue.

9. Repeat the procedure on the left nostril with the remaining solution.

 



HOW TO USE THE SINUCLEANSE® KIDS MIST™:

1. Detach spray nozzle from support arm and unscrew the top from the SinuCleanse® Kids Mist™ bottle.

Kids Mist2. Gently hold a vial of saline solution and twist off top. Squeeze contents of vial into the SinuCleanse® Kids Mist™ System bottle and reassemble.

3. Prime the pump by spraying the bottle three times into the air. If possible, gently blow child’s nose to clear out mucus before using the saline.

4. Holding the bottle with your thumb or index finger on the pump spray, place ONLY the tip of the misting nozzle at the base of the nostril. Caution: Do Not insert the nozzle more than 1/4 inch into the nostril. Stabilize the child’s head with the other hand if necessary. Spray 1-5 pumps of saline mist into each nostril.

5. Blow or wipe the nose. Repeat as needed to clear nasal secretions.

Wipe off the tip with a clean tissue or rinse with water before and after use. The SinuCleanse® Kids Mist™ System contains no preservatives so must be cleaned and the solution replaced every 7 (seven) days.
